We recently surveyed the homeowners regarding the Village/Golf Course rezoning issues, 101 surveys were completed, here are the results:

Ranking 1-5 which option would you prefer?

18 Hole Course with holes 2&3 included - 69.8% of surveys ranked this as their #1 option
18 Hole Course with holes 2&3 excluded - 43.8% of surveys ranked this as their #2 option
9 Hole Course & Village - 41.1% of surveys ranked this as their #3 option
Hiking and Biking Trails only - 61.5% of surveys ranked this as their #4 option
Let the course close and grow up - 87.3% of surveys ranked this as their #5 option

88% of the respondents ranked the 9 Hole/Village as a preferred option.

How do you think the Village Development will affect your property values?

64.5% feel it will increase property values
12.9% feel it will decrease property values
22.6% feel it won’t change property values

87.1% of the respondents feel the Village would increase or not change property values

How do you think an 18 Hole City Course would affect your property values?

48.4% feel it will increase property values
8.4% feel it will decrease property values
43.2% feel it won’t change property values

91.6% of the respondents feel a 18 hole course would increase or not change property values

How do you think a 9 Hole Course will affect your property values?

25% feel it will increase property values
22.8% feel it will decrease property values
52.2% feel it won’t change property values

77.2% of the respondents feel a 9 hole course would increase or not change property values

How do you think the Golf Course closing would affect your property values?

2.2% feel it will increase property values
84.6% feel it will decrease property values
13.2% feel it won’t change property values
